The Reserve Bank of India has permitted to sell the property to non-resident Indians. Whenever there is the purchase of the property, the funds for buying the property should be either transferred to India or paid out of the balance in the medium of NRE/ FCNR accounts

FINANCE

In a period of 90 days from the date of purchase, a declaration needs to be filed in the form of IPI7 in connection with the Central Office of Reserve Bank. Final payment of purchase consideration is expected to be submitted which should include a set of verified documents of transactions along with the certificate from the respective bank to which the amount has been paid.
